Synopsis: A donation to Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Queensland by the Courier Mail Children’s Fund yesterday will assist dozens of children struggling with the permanently disabling birth defect. News Queensland managing director Jerry Harris said it was important to help with the costs of looking after people with disabilities. Speech pathologist Amber Wakeham says the $3000 donation will make a “huge difference”.
